Unipharma, s.a. was established in 1974 in the city of Barcelona, where it is still located, though it currently has new, innovative installations in El Papiol (Barcelona), inaugurated in February 2006. This expansion has allowed us to consolidate and improve our production level as a company with regard to quality and quantity, as well as increase our main activity (the manufacture and marketing of dermatological products, pediculicides for human use and pharmacological specialities) and combine this with production of a wide range of preparations for third parties.

This qualitative advance in our development has allowed us to widen the area we cater to, which is no longer restricted to Spain, but has been extended to countries such as Portugal and those comprising the Near East. In the future, Unipharma S.A. foresees an increase in its international presence, establishing itself in Latin American and Asian countries with whom it has created important contacts.

With all these improvements, Unipharma S.A. has strengthened and primed its policy of quality, centred now more than ever on meeting the needs of the customer and the demands of new, more competitive markets.
